Sheikh Morteza Rezazadeh

Hujjatul-Islam Dr. Morteza Rezazadeh is a graduate of the advanced levels of the Islamic Seminaries of Qom and Mashhad. With a diverse educational background, Dr. Rezazadeh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Theology, dual Master’s degrees—one in Philosophy of Religion and another in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations from Hartford International University in the US, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from the University of Tehran. Additionally, he has a PhD in Comparative Religions and Mysticism from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
Having studied in religious seminaries and prestigious academic settings has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of classical Islamic teachings as well as a nuanced perspective on religious narratives and their cultural significance within various contexts.
He teaches in the Islamic seminaries in Qom and Mashhad and also teaches regularly in various forums and universities in different countries. The subjects he has taught include Principles of Jurisprudence, Mahdiism Doctrine, Shi’a Authority, Ijtihad and Fatwa, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Beliefs, and Islamic Ethics.
Dr. Rezazadeh’s publications include papers on religious ethics in Islam, on the role of Mary in early Christianity and Islam, and on Iranian Philology and Culturology. He speaks and writes in Persian, English and Arabic. He is founder and president of the Hikmat International Institute, an educational and research institution that is dedicated to providing a scholarly foundation for Islamic studies and offers courses on Shia Studies, culture and mysticism, language, and other related topics.
